Middle Earth Metals
This page contains all things Viking weave. Originally called Trichoinopoly Chain, it has become known as Viking Weave or Viking Knit in modern times. Archaeological digs have found examples of this ancient technique as far back as 1000 B.C. It has been found in Ireland, Scandinavia and the British Isles. The Weave has been found in treasure troves and was found to be used as jewelry, trim and even weapons (metal whip, or scourge). The examples found are woven in silver, not tin or bronze, which were the popular metals of the day.
